I was a little nervous about my veggies last night. The flowers on my stoop were pretty much flattened after a weekend downpour.
So as I heard radio reports of high winds, hail and rain on my way home last night, I thought my newly planted container garden might suffer the same fate.
Thankfully, they’re growing like weeds after just one week. In fact, my tomatoes even have a few yellow flowers.
Maybe a little rain was just what they needed to get things going.
How have your container gardens held up through the intense heat and storms we’ve been having? Leave a note in the comments section.
